Meet Dr. Shim
Dr. Ye Jee Shim is a general dentist who is committed to providing quality dentistry and contemporary care. She is recognized for her thorough, compassionate, and individualized care for patients of all ages. Her goal is to encourage and guide everyone on their journey to healthy smiles and lifestyles.
Dr. Shim received her undergraduate degree from New York University in biology and chemistry. She continued her education at New York University College of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Upon graduation, she completed her general practice residency at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, where she received advanced training in all aspects of dentistry, including oral and periodontal surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics.
Dr. Shim participates regularly in continuing education courses to expand her knowledge and maintain progressive skills in general dentistry. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, baking, hiking, and photography.
